Mars image set from yesterday evening, with Hellas and Syrtis Major central.
[Clyde Foster:Centurion,South Africa]
Under good to very good images at the cassegrain 150mm and 257x.
Still this ocre hazze staying at limb north hemisphere: a mist visible in blue,
blue green and deep yellow filters with the peak of brillance with the W11 and no filter.
Polar hood at the north pole area appearing more a mist than a white hazze typically.Hellas is seen very clear.
The southern area seemed to be seen behind a thin hazze as the blue channel images were significantly lowered by.
Syrtis major was seen lowered especially at the Lybia side. The limb was especially bright.
[Stanislas Maksymowicz Ecquevilly,France]
Some very good seeing on the 21st allowed for a detailed view of the Chryse hemisphere despite the angular size now down to 10".
The SPC looks decidedly irregular in shape.
