Conditions were not great last night,so attached was the best IR I could get.
[Clyde Foster:Centurion,South Africa]
Horrible transparency this night with passing thick clouds, but seeing was
stable for decent telescope views during brief cloud gaps.
Most of the features were extremely prominent visually so the dust storm has clearly subsided.

Attached is a drawing of Mars I made on 30th August using the University of Leicester's 20 inch Planewave Dall-Kirkham.
Seeing was around AIII and there were a number of interesting features on the disk:
- Solis Lacus present on the prec. side of the disk- lots of structure visible here.
- It seemed as if there were bright clouds present in Argyre
- Aurorae sinus also showed quite a bit of structure.
- A vague streak present in the Ganges.
- Mare Sirenum present on the following side of the disk.

The night was dry but very turbulent with strong jet stream and bad air pollution but I could get this reasonable image.

Here is an obs made in very poor conditions
