Comment by Makoto Adachi
Mare
 Gianluca Bianchi

In the vicinity of 0 ° west longitude, we can see the sunny areas around the North Pole and the South Pole today as well. In the image
of Mr. Nakata, it shows that the light dust veil near Mare Sirenum seen from 2 days ago is in the same position today. With this image,
a light veil can be confirmed.
Mr. Hatanaka and Mr. Horiuchi are recording noticeable clouds on the north side of Daedaria. This is a series of mountain clouds
by Arsia Silva Mons of Tharsis and Pavonis Mons.
Please note that Mr. Gianluca Bianchi's image is an inverted image.

Well, despite of the wind gusts, which was a bit lighter than early evening,
Mars shone brightly overhead crossing the zenit as I tried to get some RGB sequences,
Conditions were not great but some interesting albedo features were recorded nicely:
Aeria,Syrtis Major,Crocea,Trinacria,Iapygia,Mare Serpentis,Mare Ionium,Hellas,
Mare Australe,Sabaeus Sinus,Deucalionis Regio,Pandorae Fretum and other larger regions at the north of Mars.
I think the blue chanel is presenting some slight blue clearing.

Despite residual Jetstream, conditions were improved last night after the recent cold front had moved through.
Elysium at lower right and Olympus Mons just appearing at lower left. Mare Cimmerium stretching across the upper section of the image.
Regrettably having a persistent edge artefact which is affecting the SPC.

While waiting for Perseids,
I made an observation of Mars using Pete Lawrence's C14 telescope in Selsey West Sussex.
Although drifting cloud was a nuisance seeing was average and there was some nice details on the disk.
Syrtis Major can be seen on the following side,
the Hellas Basin was rather bright and there seemed to be an interesting shading separating Eridania and Ausonia.
