I managed to catch a view of the STB outbreak this morning, more by good fortune than planning.
The forecast was for overcast weather, but I woke up early and was pleased to see it was clear,
without realising the STB outbreak would be visible. Seeing was fair.
Plenty to note:
- The Oval BA is at lower right approaching the p limb.
- The STB outbreak still appears to be active with a number of larger and smaller bright spots
- Two strings of small dark spots below and following the STB outbreak
- Bright outbreak on the NEBs
- Some structure is visible in the NEB wave formations
- Interesting clump of small white spots on the southern edge of the NPR,approaching the CM.
A second set of images from this morning, captured about an hour after my first set.
The STB outbreak is just rotating out of view at lower right and the SEB barge has rotated into view at lower left.

Here's a colour image of Jupiter from this morning in reasonably good seeing just prior to sunrise.
Oval BA can be seen as the orange-ringed storm at lower right, and to its left is the current STrZ outbreak.
A separate bright storm is visible on the southern edge of the NEB,left of centre.
Some reasonable seeing this morning just before dawn,
you can see the recent outbreak in the STrZ following Oval BA in this IR image.

Seeing was variable again today due to N winds. The G and B data are still very bad.
These images show the remnant of the STB Outbreak. The remnant is mixture of dark barges and small ovals.
Oval BA is close to the terminator on the right.
The SEB is active on it's northern half.
THE NEB is quiet in this region and has a very light color except on it's southern part.

Here is an image from Feb 18th. A good view of oval BA and white spot Z.
A second Jupiter result from the 18th obtained by Matej Mihelcic and processed by myself.
A lovely view of Oval BA and the STB outbreak.
