A beautiful still summer evening last night here in Hertfordshire.
Seeing was good with the occasional flash of real clarity.
Some detail apparent within GRS....detail attached.

Imaged Jupiter May 24th in fair seeing. The GRS is well seen with R and IR data resolving some detail within it.
I suspect Oval BA is over on the P limb about to rotate out of view in the first IR data set of the session.
Based on Marco's map for 2017 April 9-10 I believe I have nicely resolved the NN-LRS-1 but am not sure about the designation of the red oval on the Northern edge of the NEB.

A relatively fast jetstream did not impart as much of a restriction on the image outcomes
as thought...good detail on the disk with the GRS "wake" well evinced: Io & its shadow transitting also.
Red,green & blue channels also included as well as an iR685nm capture image.
Attached are two drawings I made of Jupiter on 24th May 2017.
Once again we had some good seeing here and I was able to see a number of fine features on the disk.
Both the main equatorial belts continue to show considerable activity.
Drawing 2 shows a interesting bright region in the NEB,just before the CM on the for. side.
