Good seeing again today,Ganymede is in transit along with its shadow, and the GRS is setting at lower right.
Image reprojected in WinJupos,2 mins per channel in R/G/B.
[Anthony Wesley,Murrumbateman Australia]
John Kazanas (317mm Newton)|
Lots of activity in the EZ area - it will be interesting to see if this area starts to interact with the area trailing the GRS which has a clear ring inside of it.
[John Kazanas,Melbourne Australia]
Trevor Barry(406mm Newtonian)|
Imaged Jupiter this morning in marginal seeing, have reasonable RGB & IR data,a statement really on the processing software now available rather than the seeing.
The GRS is toward the P limb with Ganymede and its shadow in transit.

Oval BA is well seen. The GRS has lost its dark eyebrow.

Poor seeing, intermittent clouds and high shear.
Images show Io occulting Europa.
