Had some good seeing on Neptune last night, attached is an animation showing a prominent bright spot rising from the left. The last frame in the animation has Triton shown for reference.
Some excellent seeing last night on Neptune for an hour or so. There is a small storm that can be seen setting at lower right in these two frames.
Also there is an interesting limb-bright feature at top left up close to the N. polar region which doesn't seem to move much between frames. I suspect this is one of the optically thin layers that is visible to me only on the limb. It seems to be reasonably extended in size
Triton is included for reference, it's brightness has been stretched a lot to make it easier to see.
