Uranus Image 2013/10/04(UT)
Stanislas Maksymowicz (514mm Newton)|
Here is the last observation of Uranus performed with a 514mm newtonian.
On the short period the sky conditions were not bad but enough for the
aperture (seeing 5-6/10) transparency as well. But no enough time to push
the magnification away.
However, the feature that was captured at the first look was the bright
collar between the pole and the planet hemispheres. Due to light glare the
hemispheres were featureless, more magnification is needed.
The disk was seen yellowish-grey, the other observers said greenish.
