Seeing was very poor this morning - somewhere above us there was a fast moving jetstream that really caused havoc with the image. Here's the best image from the session, taken close to the end at 6.35am. Oval BA is close to the central meridian, the small red storm just below it. Both are getting closer to the GRS,it will be very interesting to see what happens when they meet in a few weeks time!

By chance I find that I have two images that show the GRS in the same relative location, almost 50 hours apart (just on 5 jovian days).
If you're interested, here's a link to a 2-frame animation showing cloud movements relative to the GRS over that period:

It was clear this morning. Jupiter was only 35deg above the horizon when I took this image. Seeing was okay but not great.
Oval BA and the little red STrZ spot is setting in this image. The STrZ-2 oval is also visible here. The SSTB cyclonic oval is huge!
Note the mid-SEB white spot just before the CM. Io and her shadow is at the NEB. The NEB is really dark red.
